Carp

Carp?

Yes, Carp.

The Columbia River is a massive watershed. Famously known as a super highway for Salmon and Steelhead, anglers have been targeting anadromous fish here forever.

What almost everyone looks past though is it’s unbelievable warm water fishery. Particularly, Carp. With over a 150 miles of prime habitat and flats, the Columbia River in my opinion is the most underrated Carp fishery in the world. Crystal clear water, tailing fish, and the average size is what makes this fishery so great. You’ll have shots at 15lb fish everyday, but there are giants in the 20-30lb weight class as well. Our largest fish this past season was 24lbs.
